I don't know what to write because I never got to play it and I did not have the patience to return it. Well what can I say, I got it for 7 bucks and this only proves that cheap stuff is.cheap :)
With that you feel immersed in a 3D world, at high speed. Years ago I played TOCA, touring car championsip, complete with a Microsoft Sidewinder force-feedback wheel. That was one excellent game. With this. This isn't.It's bland, it's dull, there's no sensation of speed, car handling or anything to maintain your attention. It's like watching someone else play, but harder work.In fairness I'm somewhat addicted to Richard Burns Rally, which is worlds apart from this. not so much.It has some good points, good sound, wide choice of cars - but why bother, when it's boring.3 stars, for effort. They missed the most important bit though, making it feel like you're driving a car.
Game is great ,however after installation you will be asked to restart your computer which will install an app the verifies the validity of your game each time you play. That app also causes frequent error messages in windows. I've gone to using Steam online to access the game which doesn't seem to have the issues using the disc creates.
Race 7 is a first class racing sim. I have been playing the SIMBIN race games starting with the first GTR. Are the cars too slow, then hop in the F3. Realistic simulation and fun to drive. I'm too old to drive on the track anymore but this helps me turn and burn again. Beat my 1:45.201 at Monza. I'm sick and old it will be easy.
Game was delivered on time, no problems. The game itself is very realistic, but somewhat difficult to get started. Like all racing games, trying to turn is difficult with the keyboard but might be better with the attachable steering wheel (sold separately of course)Anyway, my kids are better at this game than I am, but that is to be expected since they don't have any real driving to compare it to.
